It is amazing how attentive Finely is with voices he recognizes. He loves listening to Dad's voice.

A popular misconception is that newborns smile because they simply have gas. After spending a morning with Finley smiling over and over again, I spent the rest of the week trying to capture a photo because I didn't think anyone would believe me that Finley smiles, and not because he has gas! Here it is!

The morning seems to be Finley's favourite time of day. He loves just lying around, staring at lights, and filling his diaper. When he has had enough, he eats for the rest of the day!

Dwight has passed the blogger torch to me and I've already been neglectful. My bad. Finley is 9 days old and slowly meeting his family and friends.

Holding the camera is Adrienne, the other midwife, and Sandy (nurse in the labour & delivery ward) was there as well. We were all in very good hands & they did a heck of a job.

Mom's doing well & so is Dad (although both are lacking a bit of sleep as his 'witching hour' seems to be 11pm-2am).

Pia, Alfredo, & Norma are all very proud & everyone's happy there's no indications of health issues at all. Vera & her team are taking very good care of us coming to our house for visits to ensure everything's o.k.
